The FamilyLife Board of Directors came to visit today, and brought along the two newest members! You may not even be aware that FamilyLife has its own Board of Directors but it has since 2006 when FamilyLife became a subsidiary of Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ).  Their decisions are still run past the Cru board, but this group is particularly invested in giving guidance and leadership to FamilyLife. They are:

Steve Robinson — Senior Vice President, Marketing, Chick—fil—A and Chairman of the Board of Directors of FamilyLife bio

David Robbins — CEO of FamilyLife bio

Scott Beck — Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Tango bio

Kerry Bradley — retired as President of Luxottica Retail bio

Greg Lillestrand — Cru City National Director bio

Crawford Loritts — Senior Pastor, Fellowship Bible Church, Roswell, GA bio

Steve Thorne — President and Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Dental Services bio

And our two newest members,

Bryan Carter — Senior Pastor of Concord Church, Dallas, TX bio

Alicia La Hoz — Founder of Family Bridges bio

We are so thankful for this strong leadership, especially through the transitions that are ahead for us! It was especially significant to hear Crawford Loritts, who has been connected to FamilyLife since its inception in 1978, talk about our move. “I’m excited about where God has brought this ministry,” he said “and the changes that are taking place that will position us to be incredibly fruitful over the next twenty years.” Knowing that our girls will most likely be getting married and raising their families over those twenty years, we are grateful that FamilyLife looks to be there for them!
