Every once in a while, we have a FamilyLife Today program or series that just seems to stand out. This week, is one of those times. Listen on the radio, stream it on line, or podcast. http://familylifetoday.com/
The series with guest, David Nasser, comes HIGHLY, recommended. David Nasser grew up culturally Muslim. His father was a general in the Iranian army. David tells how his family escaped execution and fled Iran during the Iranian Revolution of 1979. For nine months his family tried legally to get into the United States. It was only until his mother encouraged him to pray and ask this “American Jesus,” whom he’d only heard of, to let them into the country, that asylum was granted.
It’s an amazing story, and he tells it very well. He is a good communicator, humble, and very funny. Don’t miss it!
Bonus: David Nasser is speaking at all three of our upcoming “I Still Do™” arena events. “I Still Do™” is a powerful, practical, one-day marriage event where couples can invest in and strengthen their marriage. Couples will join thousands of others to affirm the fundamental importance of strong, healthy, committed marriages in every culture. Please pray for David and the many other speakers as they impact family’s for Christ as well as pray for those attending to hear the message clearly and allow God to work in their lives!
