Given the choice, I’d guess many of us would rather be on the ‘cruse’ side of our posts title – yet most of us are closer to the snow side. A bit like the mailman – neither snow, sleet, ice, or sunburn and seasickness will stop FamilyLife from marriage ministry!
This weekend the Love Like You Mean It marriage cruise is right now sailing to Grand Turk Island. On board are Gary Chapman, Bob Lepine, the Rainey’s, Chris August,,Laura Story,Nicole C. Mullen, and more. Every day there are multiple marriage events – a note today from our prayer team on board said. “We have had requests from couples married long periods of time who are using this cruise as a last effort to save their marriages. There are areas of relational brokenness but also many who are asking us to pray for loved ones with physical ailments. In particular, the number of brain injuries/tumors/surgeries is the most common.” Join us in prayer for this event – without too much envy for their beautiful weather!
On the snow side of things, we have multiple Weekend to Remember events. Three of these events are in weather effected areas, leaving our team from here in Little Rock having to drive rather than fly. The Hershey team have a 18 hour drive. The Hilton Head team have a 16 hour drive. The Asheville team have a 12 hour drive. Pray with us that not only these teams arrive in time, but the equipment would arrive as well. Of course, we are also praying for our guests to make it and be safe as well!
